A Structured Engagement, Not Open-Ended Advice

The Enterprise Transformation Framework

Five phases, run in sequence, each ending in a deliverable your team keeps — not a slide deck that gets filed away.

The Arc

How the engagement runs, phase by phase.

Phase 0 · Weeks 1–2

Diagnostic Sprint

Costing binder review, bottleneck mapping, and three pricing fixes you can act on before the full engagement even starts. This is where we find whether your competitors are viable on a cost structure you haven't modeled — or whether they're simply underpricing themselves out of the market.

Phase 1 · Months 1–2

Director Decongestion

A delegation system and decision-rights matrix so approvals, cheque-signing and day-to-day fires stop routing through one person. Meeting discipline and task ownership are rebuilt so the owner's calendar reflects strategy, not triage.

Phase 2 · Months 2–4

Pricing & Cash Architecture

A tiered pricing framework (direct/architect, distributor, volume/tender) built from your actual formulation costs. Paired with a collection system targeting 80%+ on-time receivables, a monthly MIS pack (GP, NP, PAT, cash-in-hand), and a defined cash reserve target.

Phase 3 · Months 4–6

Sales Enablement

An objection-handling playbook that stops discount-driven losses, a weekly sales operating system with named KPIs, and a 30-day action register — so the team closes the way the owner does, without the owner in the room.

Phase 4 · Months 6+

Governance Cadence

Board-ready reporting rhythm, a documented handover plan, and — where relevant — the digital and CRM infrastructure (see Digital & CRM Services) that keeps the system running after the engagement ends.

Why the Training Model Is the Real Difference

Most structured, multi-month business-transformation programs follow a familiar shape.

An initial mass onboarding — often a single full-day session with dozens of business owners in the room — followed by monthly online sessions running a few hours at a time. It's an efficient model for the provider: one trainer, many paying participants, low cost per company. But it has a structural weakness that shows up six months in. The owner walks out inspired. The front-line team — the people who actually process orders, chase collections, and answer the phone — never sat in the room. They hear about the new system secondhand, if they hear about it at all.

The same gap shows up with large consulting firms, for a different reason. A senior partner runs the pitch, and shows up for the kick-off and the quarterly review. The week-to-week implementation — the part where systems actually get built and habits actually change — gets handed to junior staff doing their best, but without the pattern-recognition that comes from three decades spent on factory floors and inside boardrooms.

TBS runs on a different assumption: systems don't get adopted in a lecture hall — they get built at the desk where the work happens, with the person who will be there defending the methodology every time something goes wrong. That's why the standard TBS cadence isn't a few hours a month. It's one full working day, every week, on-site, with your team, for as long as the phase requires — not a training session about the system, but the system, being built, in front of the people who will run it. Led by the same person from diagnosis through handover, not passed off after the contract is signed.
